Shepperton Wild Swim Relay
West London, 20/21 June 2026
Swim under the stars
Entry Fee: £20 (Next price £30)
Fundraising Target: £150 per person
Shepperton Lake, the original home of the 24-Hour Wild Swim Relay, continues to draw swimmers back year after year, and it’s easy to see why. With crystal-clear waters, sandy banks, and consistently excellent water quality, you can wade in and see your feet. The lake is alive with wildlife: swans, herons, and kingfishers make every swim a magical experience.
The atmosphere is unforgettable. Camp on the banks, cheer your teammates through the night, and celebrate together under the morning sun. In the final hour, the fun ramps up with fancy dress and inflatables as teams tackle their last laps together. Cheers ring out as we count down to midday, marking a full 24 hours of swimming.
Over the past four years, this one-of-a-kind relay has raised over £400,000 for Level Water, supporting swimming lessons for children with disabilities across the UK.
Join us in 2026 for a weekend of swimming, camping, and community; and be part of an experience like no other.
Gather a team of swimmers and swim relay-style for an hour each, for 24 hours. Look forward to an amazing sense of achievement from taking on a unique challenge. Register your interest for more event information and your FREE CODE FOR TEAM CAPTAINS:
What’s the objective?
It’s not a race! And, it’s not about distance covered. This event is an endurance swimming challenge for you and your team to set yourselves. Swim as much as you want, as fast as you want, however you want. We have children, grandparents, swimmers with disabilities, and plenty of breast-strokers.
This event is all about teamwork and camaraderie to get you through the hours. How well do you work together and how much fun can you have at a Wild Swim Relay?
Raising money for Level Water
Your challenge will raise critical funds for Level Water, a charity providing one-to-one swimming lessons for children with disabilities. Your fundraising will help disabled children learn to swim and fall in love with the water. And that’s the power of swimming.

Testimonials
“So friendly, well organised. A fantastic vibe and everyone was just amazing.
Clean toilets, Beautiful Lake, Great Coffee and food onsite.”
”The atmosphere was brilliant. Totally unique in being an endurance challenge rather than about speed or distance. The LW team was fantastic in promoting the inclusive, ‘not a race’ message.”
“The night time swims really are so special but also getting to swim as a team together was brilliant.”
“The uniqueness is the 24 hour part, I think it’s amazing. My personal favourite moment was my 5am - 6am swim with the GLORIOUS sunrise, a ball of yellow gold reflecting off the water. A few of us, including the safety guy on the kayak, just stopped to soak it all in.”
“Before my last swim after I had ‘hit the wall’ with exhaustion and tears, my teammates, our kids and families all had a 30 second dance party to get me ready, and I’m so glad I made it through!”
”I loved the camaraderie, with people cheering on everyone, even at 2am. The people (staff and swimmers) were all so lovely and it's such an incredible community to be part of - watching everyone going in for that last hour made me emotional! The night swims were my favourite moment as it was so magical and unlike anything I'd ever done before.”

The Power of Swimming
100% of the profits and funds raised from Level Water events provide swimming lessons for disabled children all over the UK.
Children like Rhys:
Rhys has a hearing impairment and has to take both his hearing aids out to get in the pool. This presents a huge challenge for him. Rhys' swim teacher called him ‘naughty’ when he wasn’t listening to what he was being told.
Rhys tried group lessons for a few months but was often left on the side and had no idea what was going on, which made him feel totally alone.
Level Water understands that communication is key so we train swim teachers to adapt to the specific needs of every child they teach. 1-to-1 swimming lessons with Level Water mean that Rhys is now having bespoke lessons and is progressing brilliantly. He is learning to swim just like any other child. To fall in love with the water.
Rhys is just one of thousands of children who benefit from Level Water lessons each year. Each child is different but the outcome is the same. They get access to learn this life-saving skill all while building confidence, strength and flexibility in the water. And for every child in our lessons there are four more on the waiting list. Many of them will start their lessons in 2026 because of fundraisers like you. And that’s all pretty wonderful.
