24hr Kit-list: All the things
some essential things and optional things to bring along to your Team Swim

goggles, swim hat, swimming costume
tow-float, white light, coloured light, whistle
towels (more than 1 would be handy)
plastic bags (for your wet things)
wetsuit (even if swimming skins please bring as a back-up)
ear plugs
gloves and booties
swim watch
vaseline (ouch!)

sleeping mat, sleeping bag, pillow
SMALL tent (tent space will be allocated for your team so please share! You must not bring a tent that is bigger than a 4-man tent. If it is a 4 man tent you can only have one per team)
camping chair
eye mask, ear plugs, headphones

comfy shoes or sandals to mooch around in
warm jacket or dry robe
warm socks, gloves, beanie (because we love a beanie)
rain jacket, waterproof trousers

thermos of tea/ coffee, water bottle
FOOD! (just-add-water meals are useful here!) snacks (trail mix, flapjacks, cereal bars, chocolate)
bin bags (for rubbish)
camping stove, mug, bowl, plate, cutlery, cool packs/ cooler bag for any meat or dairy,
marshmallows (for the fire pit)
energy gels/ energy drinks (if that’s your thing)

battery pack for charging your phone

We run these events with minimalism in mind. Please do not bring too much stuff that is unnecessary and will take space away from other teams. Things not to bring (from experience):
massive tents for only 1 person
additional marquees
living room furniture
BBQs/ fire pits (we have a communal one of these)
jigsaw puzzle table
ironing boards (how crisp do your budgie-smugglers need to be?)
kitchen sink
