2025 Merchandise
Design Competition
Level Water are looking for some creative folk to help design our event merchandise for 2025. We’re asking you to submit your designs by 25 August and, if you’re successful, your design will be printed on hundreds of t-shirts and sweatshirts as official event merchandise for our events.
If you are chosen, you’ll win two free tickets to an event of your choice for 2025 plus a bundle of prizes from Level Water including beanies, thermoses and obviously all the items that have your design on.
The events we need designs for are the Bantham Swoosh, Mini-Swoosh, Bantham Boomerang, Dart10k and the Hurly Burly. Each with their own unique personality, vibe, energy, audience and challenge.
Every year we design some amazing merchandise for our events based on what we know about them and what we think our swimmers want to wear! Actually, the best way to know what the people want is to ask them to design it themselves.
A few things to consider
before you crack on
For each event, we’re looking for a t-shirt and a sweatshirt design. You can create a design to use across both products or you can design them separately
All the designs must include the official event name in some form. It doesn’t have to include the official event logo or font (but you can include it if you want to)
It has to include the words ‘Level Water’ in some form, or include our official logo
It must include the year of the event (2025)
You can add a design to the front, back or both
But please don’t put anything on the sleeves
Try to only use up to 3 colours, any more will add additional costs
When submitting your design, please send it to us as a PDF or JPEG file. If you win we’ll work with you to turn it into a print file
You can submit as many designs as you like
You don’t have to be a participant to apply, or a professional designer
We are accepting submission from anyone, of any age
If you are successful and we use your design, we may need to tweak it slightly to suit the garments colour or size better
If you win, we’ll publicise your name (if you’d like us to) every time we promote the items via email, web or socials
And finally, if you are successful then Level Water will officially own any designs you submit to us

The Dart10k is our flagship event. 1600 swimmers take on this epic 10km from Totnes to Greenway every year, raising over £250,000 in the process.

The Bantham Swoosh is a 6km swim in a fast, clear river finishing on the world famous surf beach of Bantham. 800 swimmers SWOOSH their way into raising over £250,000 for Level Water.

The Boomerang is unique. We ask swimmers to see how far then can swim upstream before the tide turns. It’s a stunning, sunset swim starting and finishing on the beautiful Bantham Beach.

The Hurly Burly is in the epic Snowdonia National Park. It’s a fast, really fast, 10km swim for experienced outdoor swimmers. It’s wild and exhilarating and such an incredible swim to end our season.

The Mini-Swoosh is for the kids. A chance for them to experience an open water swimming event for the first time by swimming the last 1km of the Bantham Swoosh. It’s fun and silly and oh so fast.
