24hr Wild Swim: Shepperton 2024

Every year, Shepperton allow us to come in and take over their lake for our annual 24hr Swim Relay. It’s just such an incredible lake. And this year 500 swimmers joined us and helped raise more than £135,000 for Level Water.

We had 4 solo swimmers taking on the full 24hrs, never leaving the lake. Teams from schools, other lakes, families, friends, new and experienced swimmers. It really is an event for anyone. You can come and swim 1 hour at your own pace or try and swim as many laps as you can each hour. It’s an event for those who are new to outdoor swimming and are looking to find a beautiful community to support them.

It’s 24 hours of joy and laughter. Of support and dedication. Of emotions and tears and smiles. It’s beautiful in so many ways and all to raise money so disabled children can learn to swim.

In three years running this amazing event with Shepperton, swimmers have raised over £350,000 to help us run life changing swimming lessons for children with disabilities. Lessons that simply wouldn’t exists if it wasn’t for the amazing efforts of these swimmers and for the incredible support we receive from the lake owners and the volunteers who help us out.

Thank you everyone.
